About the Entrepreneur
This venture began during the lockdown, born out of a desire to build something independent. The idea came from a relative, and the entrepreneur started preparing this product at home using a traditional wooden oil press, bottling and selling it locally. Initially, the product had no formal branding, but encouraging feedback from customers gave the confidence to grow the business further. With support from Mann Deshi Foundation in securing the necessary licenses, along with appealing packaging and branding, the product gained a more credible and professional identity—enabling its entry into retail stores and helping expand its customer base.
