Our Home made Arbi ke Danthal aur Urad Dal ki Masala wadis are sun dried dumplings made with pinalu stems covered with ground urad lentil batter along with some herbs and spices. They are meaty in texture as well as in taste. These dumplings are very rich in protien and fiber so they are also a great substitute for meat and soy chunks. Plus they are Vegan as well as gluten free. you can add them to veggies, rice, even soups, pasta or noodles.
They can also be fried and served as a side dish. They soak up the sauce or gravy in which they are cooked and yet retain their texture, flavour & taste.
