PROBIOTICS
Probiotics are called �friendly bacteria� since they help the digestive system digest food and secrete beneficial nutritional substances. They are critical to nutrient absorption and assist in peristalsis - the rhythmic motion of thedigestive tract by helping move intestinal contents through the digestive system.

Probiotics work with the body�s immune system to organize strategies that fight toxins and pathogenic microorganisms from harming the body. Inulin and fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are prebiotics that have been included to enhance the activity of this supplement. Since inulin and FOS are indigestible by the body, it gets transported to the large intestine where it feeds microbes and promotes fermentation.
