It is resistant to YVMV disease of okra and can increase the productivity and profitability of the farmers by growing successfully in the disease prone area. This variety has shown productivity of 18 tonnes/ha which is very high than national productivity of 12 tonnes/ha.It is a high yielding (18.0 t/ha) variety of okra having resistant to Bhendi Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus (YVMV) disease. The variety is high yielding and adoption of this variety will help in improving production which in turn will help in improving farmers’ income.
