NSC ACR-1 is a medium-maturity, high-yield, dual-purpose variety developed by ICAR-NRCSS, Ajmer, for both leafy greens and seed production. It offers near-immune resistance to stem galldisease, ensuring reliable performance. ACR-1 thrives in loamy to clay-loam soils with good drainage and prefers a dry, cool, frost-free climate. The variety delivers 8-12 t/ha of fresh leaves and 1.2-1.6 t/ha of quality seeds, with leafy harvest possible in 35-45  days and seed maturity in 95-110 days. Its vigorous growth, uniform foliage, and strong adaptability make it an excellent choice for farmers and home growers.
