This Honey is directly collected from the beekeepers in the midst of Western Ghats in the deep interior forests of Karnataka. Today Majority of Beekeepers in India have found Innovative ways to corrupt a pristine gift of Nature called Honey. These ways include dipping the honeycomb in sugar syrup and/or keeping a bowl of sugar syrup for feeding the bees. Honey bees suck on this sugar syrup confusing it with the flower's nectar and produce honey which is of substandard quality without much Health benefits. Ourbeekeepers do not feed sugar syrup to honey bees in the hives. This ensures the honey is collected by bees in the forests from rare medicinal flowers of Western Ghats giving this honey a dark maroonish full bodied colour and texture.
