Hollyhock seeds produce tall, striking flowers ideal for garden borders and backdrops. These biennial or short-lived perennial plants feature large, showy blooms in mixed colors like pink, white, purple, yellow and red.

Sow seeds directly in well-draining soil or grow bags during spring or early summer, covering lightly with cocopeat or soil, and keep moist; germination occurs in 7-14 days at 18-24°C. Provide full sun to partial shade, water regularly (thrice weekly initially), and fertilize weekly with vermicompost, monthly with seaweed for foliage, and Epsom salt for blooms.
