Our aromatic whole dried Organic Bay Leaves (locally called Sla Tyrpad) is sourced directly from the lush green rain-fed Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. Drop in a leaf, and voila! Season your food with a rich earthy essence and an enticing lovely aroma! This is that one magic-touch ingredient that is known to add a layer of flavour to Indian, Moroccan, and even Italian cuisine - Not just that! This ingredient is regarded as a potent herb in the medical industry, providing great health benefits. Grown between November to February in the East Khasi Hills, the goodness Sla Tyrpad has largely gone under the radar; which is unfortunate. We want to make more people aware of it and of course, its benefits.
