Pherzawl

Pherzawl is one of Manipur's newest districts, located in the hilly and remote southwestern part of the state. Carved out in 2016 from Churachandpur district, it's known for its dense forests, natural beauty, and rich tribal culture, home to communities like the Hmar, Kuki, and Zomi. While it faces challenges in development due to its remote nature, it offers an authentic experience of Northeast India's untouched landscapes and vibrant local traditions.
