Tussar Silk: Tussar silk, also known as "Kosa" silk, is produced by the larvae of silkworms that feed on the leaves of the Asan and Arjun trees. Jharkhand is one of the leading producers of tussar silk in India. This silk is valued for its rich texture, natural deep gold color, and durability.

Gheecha silk refers to the silk obtained from the cocoons of wild silkworms that have not been fully processed or degummed. This results in fibers that are coarser and have a distinctive texture compared to the more refined tussar silk. The silk has a natural, earthy color and a slightly rough feel, making it a favorite for creating rustic and artisanal textiles.
