Our Republic Post 6 December 1992: a Dialogue

The events of 6 December 1992 shook India and were responsible for the Mumbai blasts of 1993. Against this backdrop of violence, exactly three monthsater, in the Parliament House Annexure on 6 March 1993 that twenty-two eminent personalities were invited to participate in a seminar organised by Jaswant Singh, to discuss the prevailing issues under an agenda entitled 'Our Republic: Post 6 December, 1992'. The maturity and clarity of the views expressed in this seminar are an intellectual tour de force. These were captured on tape andater transcribed. The book and the enclosed CD bring to the reader a voice of reason: unblemished and unedited that continues to escape many, even today.
