Kashi Anmol is a high-yielding, dwarf chilli variety developed by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR). Known for early maturity and anthracnose tolerance, it produces dark green fruits that are excellent for both fresh consumption and drying, yielding roughly 200 to 225 quintals per hectare.

Plant Type: Determinate, dwarf plants reaching 60 to 70 cm in height with a spreading habit.

Harvest Time: The first picking of green chillies starts just 50 to 55 days after transplanting (and 90 to 95 days for red fruit).

Fruit Specs: Fruits are dark green, measuring 12 to 14 cm long and 1.2 to 1.3 cm in diameter, with a medium pungency.

Disease Resistance: Tolerant to anthracnose and soil-borne diseases (when seeds are treated, e.g., with Thiram).
