NSC Pusa Bhindi-5 high-quality treated seed is high yielding (18.0 t/ha) variety of bhindi having resistant to Bhendi Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus (YVMV) disease & suitable for both Kharif and Spring-Summer cultivation. 

Produces attractive dark green pods with 5 ridges and medium length (10–12 cm)

Plant is straight with 2 to 3 branches

Seed rate: 12-15 kg/ha (Spring-Summer), 8-10 kg/ha (Kharif Season)

Resistant to Bhendi Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus (YVMV) disease.

Harvesting starts 30-35 days after sowing.

Fruits continuously harvested 6-7 days after opening of flower. 

Average yield of 18.0 t/ha. during Kharif season.
