The clothes contain texts of Gita Govinda on them.Khandua silk sarees use tussar silk, also known as Kosa silk, in the warp. Tussar silk is produced from silkworms that eat juniper and oak leaves, and it's known for being lightweight, comfortable, and wrinkle-resistant. Weaver communities of Maniabandha and Nuapatna of Cuttack traditionally weave this kind of Pata.
