The tribal belt of Dahod, Dangs, Rajpipla, Narmada, Bharuch, Tapi, Navsari and Valsad are famous for their baskets, trays, boxes, mats, and musical instruments. The impetus provided by the success of these items led to the tribals venturing into making of domestic decorative items.
