Folk tales are the medium of common expression of human
life. The stories heard in childhood from grandmother and
grandmother were not only entertainment but used to become
ideal for children for life. Elders used to share their experiences
through stories, it used to be inspirational and ethical for
them. Realizing its relevance in today's environment, an attempt
has been made to publish some folk tales. It is hoped that these
folk tales from different countries of the world will entertain
as well as inspire child readers.
