Our knowledge about the Guitar is from Wikipedia. As per Wikipedia, we shared this small history to let our customers know about the Guitar history. Grover Jackson, Tim Wilson, and Mike Shannon of Charvel Guitars built Randy Rhoads' first Jackson prototype, the white, pinstriped, asymmetrical Flying V-inspired model. Notably, the guitar featured a maple neck and body (neck through body); moreover, it included an ebony fretboard, medium frets, a Stratocaster style tremolo, and Seymour Duncan pickups. Furthermore, the Charvel works labeled the prototype with Jackson's name for the first time. Initially, Randy originally slated the guitar to be called The Original SIN; however, in the end, he ultimately nicknamed it Concorde after the sleek, white supersonic aircraft.

Subsequently, Randy re-designed the next prototype because he felt the shape of the Concorde was not distinctive enough from the traditional Flying V. Consequently, he elongated the top "horn" of the instrument so that the body bore more resemblance to a shark's fin. The second prototype, therefore, featured the revised body shape; furthermore, it was black with a gold pickguard and had a fixed tailpiece with strings anchored in the body. Additionally, this guitar featured Grover locking tuners and Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups (TB-4 bridge and a SH-2 neck).

They commissioned two more string through body prototypes (making four in total). One (they later accidentally sold at the NAMM Show) was white with gold hardware and reversed shark fin inlays; meanwhile, the other was black with brass hardware and reversed shark fin inlays, this provides a basic history of Guitar.
