Blackmagic Cloud Dock 2

The Blackmagic Design Cloud Dock 2 is a compact, high-speed network storage interface designed to instantly share raw camera files directly with editing teams without the bottleneck of traditional data offloading. Featuring a half-width, 1-RU modular design, this dual-bay device houses two hot-swappable 2.5-inch slots that accept standard SATA SSDs or extreme-performance U.2 NVMe SSDs. Instead of wasting critical hours copying massive video files to a localized station, production teams can pull media drives straight from their cameras and slide them into the dock. The system instantly mounts the ExFAT or HFS+ formatted drives directly onto the local network, enabling data speeds of up to 900 MB/s. With two independent 10G Ethernet ports, up to two high-end editing workstations can plug directly into the unit for unthrottled bandwidth without an expensive external network switch, allowing editors to smoothly scrub multi-cam 4K, 8K, or 12K Blackmagic RAW files. It integrates deeply with DaVinci Resolve proxy workflows, automatically syncing footage in the background to Dropbox or Google Drive so global remote teams can collaborate concurrently. Finally, an integrated HDMI output connects to any display to project a live diagnostic dashboard featuring real-time storage memory maps, data rate graphs, and active user traffic.
