A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896–1977) was an Indian spiritual teacher, translator, and author best known as the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). His writings and translations introduced millions worldwide to the philosophy of bhakti-yoga and the teachings of Lord Krishna.
