Kishanganj

Kishanganj is a district in Bihar, famous for its tea gardens, being the only tea-producing area in the state. It borders West Bengal and Nepal, giving it a unique cultural mix. The economy relies heavily on agriculture, especially tea, jute, and paddy. It became a separate district in 1989, having previously been a sub-division of Purnia. It's a key agricultural and trade hub in northeastern Bihar.
