Baran

Baran is a district in southeastern Rajasthan, India, primarily recognized for its fertile agricultural land where wheat, soybean, and mustard are major crops. It has a rich history, once being part of the Kota princely state, and became a separate district in 1948. The district features a blend of rural charm, historical temples, and a notable tribal presence, particularly the Sahariya community in its forested areas.
