WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)
This guide will walk you through how to set up your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) on the MyStore platform. This setup allows you to send automated or manual messages to your customers directly via WhatsApp.
1. Navigate to WA Accounts
- Log in to your MyStore admin dashboard.
- Access WA accounts
- On the WA Accounts page, click the "Add New" button located at the top right corner of the screen.
2. Fill in the WABA Account Form
You'll now see a form (refer to the screenshot above) with several fields to be filled in. Below is an explanation of each:
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Name | A label for this WABA account to identify it internally. |
Status | Shows whether the account is active or inactive. |
Ratings | Displays any quality rating (if applicable). |
Embedded Signup Status / Last Step | This tracks the status of your signup. |
WABA ID | The WhatsApp Business Account ID. This is usually generated during Meta onboarding. |
Phone Number ID | ID linked with the WhatsApp phone number via Meta. |
Enabled | Set to true if the account is active and ready to send messages. |
Message Limit | Number of messages allowed daily (varies based on Meta tier). |
Verified | Indicates if Meta has verified the business account. |
WABA Status | Shows the current operational status from Meta. |
Additional Configuration (Optional)
- Violations: Shows any policy violations flagged by Meta.
- Authorize: You can authorize this WABA account for:
- Specific Substores
- Individual Sellers
- Assigned Seller Managers
Use the search inputs to assign these roles appropriately.
3. Submit the WABA Account
Once all necessary fields are completed, click the "Submit" button at the top right corner of the page to save and activate your WABA account.
4. Where to View Messages
After a WABA account is created:
- Default WhatsApp templates will be automatically added.
- You can view and manage sent/received messages by visiting the "WA Messages" page from the sidebar.
