How to use:

1. Apply the sensor. The sensor is applied to the back of the upper arm using a disposable applicator. The applicator is very easy to use, and the sensor application process is quick and painless.


2. Wait for the sensor to warm up. Once the sensor is applied, it needs to warm up for 1 hour before you can start scanning it.


3. Scan the sensor. To scan the sensor, you can use the FreeStyle Libre reader or the FreeStyle LibreLink app on your smartphone. To scan the sensor with the reader, simply hold the reader up to the sensor. To scan the sensor with the app, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions.


4. View your glucose results. Once you have scanned the sensor, you will see your current glucose reading on the reader or app screen. You will also be able to see your glucose trends and patterns over time. 

Safety Information:

• Apply the sensor to a clean and dry area of skin.


• Avoid applying the sensor to areas with scars, moles, or tattoos.


• Apply the sensor to a flat area of skin.


• Do not bend or fold the sensor.


• Do not exercise or swim for 12 hours after applying the sensor.


• Calibrate the sensor every 12 hours to ensure accurate readings.


• Replace the sensor every 14 days.

Storage information:

• Store the sensor in the original packaging until you are ready to use it.


• Do not open the sensor packaging until you are ready to apply the sensor.


• Apply the sensor within 30 minutes of opening the packaging.


• If you are not going to use the sensor immediately, store it in a cool, dry place.


• Do not use the sensor if it is expired.
