“Dolichos beans are ideal for harvesting fresh as edamame, producing a reliable crop of pods that typically contain three plump seeds each. These compact, upright plants are easy to harvest and well suited for small gardens. Each seed packet contains 250 g of seeds.

The crop is ready for harvest about 75 days after sowing in bush types and around 3 months in pole types. For best quality, tender, fully grown green pods should be harvested every 3–4 days. Bushy cultivars provide 4–5 pickings, while pole-type cultivars yield 8–10 pickings.”
