Developed by the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Bengaluru, Arka Keshav is a high-yielding brinjal (eggplant) variety with strong resistance to bacterial wilt. It produces tender, uniform, and defect-free fruits and shows excellent adaptability across diverse growing conditions. With a yield potential of around 48 t/ha, this research-backed variety is especially valuable for cultivation in regions prone to wilt problems, ensuring reliable performance and profitable production.
