Gaillardia, also known as blanket flower, is an easy to grow, short-lived perennial with richly colored, daisy-like flowers. It is a gorgeous wildflower that produces 4 inch blooms all summer long up until late fall. The petals are deep red, accented by bright yellow tips and are formed much like a daisy.

Sunlight: Plant seeds in a full sun location

Soil: Use well-draining soil, preferably poor or dry soil, and avoid enriching it with compost
