Why Organic White Rice

The difference between normal white rice and organic white rice is in mainly how they are grown and processed. Normal white rice is typically grown using synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemical inputs to maximize yields and minimize the effects of pests and diseases. The use of these chemicals may result in residues on the rice grains that can be harmful to human health.

Organic white rice, on the other hand, is grown using natural and organic methods without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or other harmful chemicals. Organic farmers rely on natural methods to control pests and diseases, such as crop rotation, companion planting, and the use of natural predators. Organic certification also requires that the rice be processed without the use of chemical additives or preservatives.
