Gheecha silk refers to the silk obtained from the cocoons of wild silkworms that have not been fully processed or degummed. This results in fibers that are coarser and have a distinctive texture compared to the more refined tussar silk. The silk has a natural, earthy color and a slightly rough feel, making it a favorite for creating rustic and artisanal textiles.
