The material is tested for compostability at CIPET and certified as “compostable” by CPCB (IS/ISO 17088). The product has high strength, so the weight-bearing capacity is comparable to petroleum-derived plastics. The bags are water-resistant and leak-proof and hence can handle both dry waste and wet waste. The bags are well suited to handle waste generated at offices, households, parties, hospitality etc.
