In spite of a large number of programmes initiated for the deprived sections of the society the plight of SC�s/STs, OBCs and other deprived sections of the society, that is religious minorities, tribal groups etc., continue to face multiple forms of exclusion, discrimination and violence. Efforts are required to highlight every form of exploration and deprivation. There has been a challenge with the government to bring social transformation by social inclusiveness of these communities in the mainstream development process. For the purpose of social inclusion, the government needs to go for social inclusive policy to bring deprived sections, castes, communities, groups, religious minorities and others in the main stream development process, efforts must be doubled to incorporate the voices of the excluded or of those who are at risk of exclusion, into the mainstream development process so that they become decisive partners in their own process of inclusion.
