WHEAT VL 967, or VL Gehun 967, is a high-yielding, rust-resistant wheat variety developed by ICAR-VPKAS, Almora, specifically for the rainfed organic conditions of Uttarakhand hills. Released by the Uttarakhand seed Sub-Committee, this variety is notable for its resistance to both stripe and brown rusts, good protein content, and excellent quality for chapatti making.
