Kashi Aman is a popular, high-yielding determinate tomato hybrid (VRT-0801) developed by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR) in Varanasi, India. Known for its resistance to Tomato Leaf Curl Virus (ToLCV), firm, round, red fruits, and suitability for both Kharif and Rabi seasons, it's widely grown in North Indian states like UP, Bihar, and Punjab, offering good economic returns to farmers.  

Key Characteristics:

·Type: Determinate hybrid (VRT-0801).

·Disease Resistance: Resistant to Tomato Leaf Curl Virus (ToLCVD).

·Fruit: Round, firm, red, with good pericarp thickness (0.52-0.57cm), weighing 80-110g, and ~4.6 °Brix (TSS).
