NSC Kashi Madhu is a high-yielding muskmelon variety developed by ICAR–IIVR, Varanasi. It is known for its excellent fruit quality, sweet taste, and attractive appearance, making it ideal for both commercial cultivation and home gardening.

Fruits are medium-sized, round to oval, with smooth skin and thick, orange-colored flesh. The flesh is juicy, aromatic, and sweet, with total soluble solids (TSS) around 12–14° Brix. The crop matures in approximately 80–90 days after sowing and performs well under summer cultivation conditions.

Kashi Madhu shows good adaptability and relatively better tolerance to common muskmelon diseases. Its uniform fruit size, excellent flavor, and good shelf life make it highly preferred in the fresh market.
