Plant Characteristics

Growing Conditions & Care

• Season: In India, it is a popular winter annual, typically sown from October to February. In other climates, it blooms from spring to early summer.
• Sunlight: Requires full sun (at least 6–8 hours daily) for heavy flowering.
• Soil: Prefers well-draining, sandy-loamy soil with a neutral pH (5.6–6.5).
• Watering: Drought-tolerant once established, but requires moderate, regular watering during its growth phase; avoid waterlogging.
• Sowing: Seeds should be sown when night temperatures are between 20–25°C
