Kusum oil is extracted from the seeds of the Kusum tree, also known as Ceylon oak, lac tree, or Macassar oiltree. It boasts a unique composition, including beneficial fatty acids like oleic acid, stearic acid, gadoleic acid, and arachidic acid, along with linoleic acid and palmitic acid.

To ensure safety, we meticulously remove cyanogenic compounds, such as hydrocyanic acid, making our oil perfectly safe for use. The resulting yellowish-brown semi-solid oil has a faint aroma of bitter almond and may separate into a light-colored solid fat when left to settle.
