Go Earth's Organic�Khewra salt mine produces Himalayan pink rock salt, which is extracted from the mines that rise from the Indo-Gangetic plain. Himalayan salt contains 95�96% sodium chloride, as well as 2-3 % polyhalite and trace quantities of 10 additional minerals. The presence of iron oxide in rock salt gives it a pink hue. It's frequently used in cooking, as a substitute for conventional table salt, in brine, and in bath goods like bath salts. Salt blocks are also used as serving dishes and in food preparation.
