FERTILISING THE FUTURE:Bharat’s March Towards Fertiliser Self-Sufficiency

During the tenure of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country has set many new records of growth. Today, the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘self-reliant India’ (Aatmanirbhar Bharat) is being realized in many sectors. The fertiliser sector is also one of them. During the tenure of Modi ji, the fertiliser sector has succeeded in writing a golden story of growth.

Bharat became the first country in the world to successfully start commercial production of revolutionary nano urea and nano DAP. In theast few years, many countries of the world faced fertiliser crisis. But under theeadership of our prime minister, Bharat did notet these crises affect the farmers of our country. Modi ji ensured that the rising prices of fertilisers in the global markets did not affect the farmers of the country. For this, the government increased subsidy on multiple occasions. A strong and decisive plan was implemented to curb black marketing, diversion and hoarding of fertilisers.
