Barock inks were manufactured in Dresden, the capital of Saxony, until 2011. The insolvency of the company initially meant the end of the brand, but not the end of ink production at the Saxon location. Rather, it was the starting signal for the production of the first Octopus fountain pen inks, which reflected the expertise of some former Barock employees. We are proud to be able to continue this legacy now under the brand name "Barock".
